February brings the hottest events to Miami

Nestled on Biscayne Bay and with beautiful vegetation, “The Grove” – as locals call it – has always been home to Miami’s bohemian crowd. The Coconut Grove Arts Festival has been held for over 50 years and is the nation’s top outdoor fine arts festival.
The event is held outdoors in downtown Coconut Grove. With 380 of the finest artists and craftsmen in the world participating, this event will please the most demanding arts enthusiasts. Take a stroll to enjoy the lively atmosphere, music and beautiful art and you will most certainly not be disappointed. The Coconut Grove Arts Festival will be held from February 14-16. Tickets for adults are $15, children under 12 enter free.
The South Beach Wine & Food Festival – Now celebrating its 13th year, the South Beach Wine & Food Festival is a culinary treasure, showcasing the talents of the world’s most renowned wine and spirits producers, chefs and culinary personalities. The show is presented by Food Network and the Cooking Channel and features hundreds of local, national and international chefs and personalities including TV stars such as Andrew Zimern from Bizarre Foods. Chefs of global stature such as Juan Mari Arzac, head chef of one of Spain’s top restaurants – Arzac – will also be at the event. If you are a foodie this is an event that you will enjoy to the last bite. Come prepared though, you will leave with a few extra pounds. Ticket prices vary widely by event.
